EMC Shielding
EMC shielding refers to all methods used to protect sensitive signals against external electromagnetic signals or to prevent stronger signals from escaping and interfering with electronic systems in the environment. EMC shielding can protect components on PCBs, such as ICs or active components or connections between cables and PCBs. EMC stands for electromagnetic compatibility and means that a circuit is equipped with shielding against interference.
